The settings can be reproduced with total accuracy to perfectly suit the materials being sewn.
Thanks to the world's first vertically-driven digital feed mechanism, the feed dog height can be adjusted with ease according to the material fabric of product to be sewn, thereby improving seam quality. Thanks to this digital feed mechanism, thread trimming is carried out with the feed dog lowered in the case the shorter-thread remaining thread trimming function is enabled.As a result, the clearance provided between the throat plate and the material is eliminated, thereby stabilizing the length of thread remaining after thread trimming.The feed dog does not protrude the top surface of throat plate when the sewing machine stops with its needle bar up, thereby facilitating placement/removal of the material on/from the top surface of throat plate and preventing the material from being damaged by the feed dog.
Seam quality is improved by introducing the separately-driven right and left active tension mechanisms.
The needle thread tension is automatically corrected according the sewing speed. Consistently seam quality is, therefore, achieved regardless of changes in sewing speed.The needle thread tension is automatically corrected according to the remaining amount of bobbin thread. Seam quality is, therefore, stabilized even when the remaining amount of bobbin thread has reduced.In the case of using the automatic needle thread tension correction feature according to the remaining amount of bobbin thread, the bobbin-thread change notification signal is provided to warn the operator when the remaining amount of bobbin thread has reduced to the predetermined level.
Changeover from the normal stitching to the corner stitching is carried out semi-automatically using the lever while ensuring ease of operation. The operator only needs to input data on the needle gauge/stitching angle through the operation panel. Then, the operator can start the corner stitching only by operating the lever during sewing. Thereafter, the sewing machine automatically changes the sewing mode between the normal stitching and the corner stitching. This means that even the inexperienced operator can produce consistent seam quality while improving productivity. In addition, the problem that the seam inside the corner stitching floats*1 can be solved by the active - tension correction function².
Management of sewing performance and sewing machine by the utilization of IoT (Internet of Things)Data on sewing machine adjustments made according to the product to be sewn can be transferred to a commercially-available Android tablet in contactless mode. This enables quick check for uniform settings as well as confirmation of conditions of sewing machines in a sewing line, thereby facilitating setup changes. The operation panel is also provided as standard with a USB port. Data management and software update can be carried out with ease using a USB thumb drive. Data items of sewing can be numerically managed to ensure "stable quality" and "reduction in time required for setup changes". Quantified sewing data can be externally taken from the sewing machine using an Android tablet or USB thumb drive. *Android OS Version 6.0 is recommended to use JUKI Smart APP. High-quality seams that respond to heavy-weight materials and light-weight materialsThe thread clamp mechanism and the feed mechanism that succeeded JUKI's unique technologies have been reviewed for improvement. As a result, more beautifully-finished seams are now produced. In addition, the main-shaft retry function can be selected with the memory switch. This improves the penetration force of the needle when sewing heavy-weight materials.
AW-3 Automatic bobbin-thread winding and feeding deviceAMS-221F has high sewing machine operation rate and bobbin thread occurs frequently replacement. Since the AW-3 changes the bobbin automatically before the bobbin-thread runs out and bobbin-thread is wound during sewing, the operator is able to concentrate on sewing without worrying about shortage of bobbin thread.In addition, only two bobbin cases are required for sewing. As a result, burdensome control of bobbin thread tension and bobbin-changing work are no longer required, thereby contributing to increased productivity.
